Gay Marriage Sticker

Dear everyone,

After a lot of years of devastating setbacks in the fight for marriage equality, it seems like we're finally moving in the right direction. With marriage legal in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont and Maine, and the fights going strong in New Hampshire, New York and California, this movement is gaining more momentum every day, and I'm excited to be a part of it.

To that end, I wanted to let you know that CREDO Action is giving away some awesome stickers about supporting gay marriage - I think you'd really like them. If you have a minute, click this link to check out the stickers and get one of your own (for free!).

Thanks!

I ordered one. I can't wait until it comes.

1 man + 1 woman= Marriage

I haven't posted in a couple days, I have been too sad. I went to San Fran yesterday for the march. I can't believe they are upholding Prop 8. California is such a bullshit state.

You gotta give them hope

Today was/is an exciting day, in my opinion. It is May 22nd, 2009. Today, Harvey Milk would have turned 79. It has also been announced that the Supreme Court will announce on Tuesday, May 26th their decision for Propsition 8.

(05-22) 13:40 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- The state Supreme Court will rule Tuesday on a challenge to Proposition 8, the ballot measure that reinstated California's ban on same-sex marriage. The court announced the impending decision today in lawsuits by same-sex couples and local governments, led by San Francisco, seeking to overturn the measure that 52 percent of California voters approved in November. If the court upholds the measure, it must also decide how the proposition affects the marriages of about 18,000 same-sex couples who wed before the Nov. 4 election

Fingers crossed for equality. I also wanted to mention that there is going to be a lot of rallies and support in various cities in California. Here is a good site to look up what is going on in your area.

Happy Birthday Harvey Milk.

I love a woman in a suit

Women are gorgeous. The way they move, walk, talk, smell, everything about them is sexy. And sometimes a woman in clothes can even be hotter than a woman naked. (Well, almost) A trend I love is women wearing suits. They can be women's suits, or men's suits. I think it is a great look, very stylish and sexy. Here are some photos I found of women doing just that.

Lady Loving Lady

I know this is old news, but I just had to write a post about it. Nicole Pacent, from the web series "Anyone But Me" is a lesbian.

SC: Well it sounds like you know a lot about the different types of categories and stereotypes on The L Word…so does this mean you are an L Word fan?

NP: Yes, it does (laughing). And it also means I am a lady-loving-lady. I’ve followed The L Word from the time that it aired. I remember being at Gay Pride in New York, summer of 2003, and there was a big float advertising it and I remember going, ‘What is that?!’ The only thing that was out was Queer as Folk at that point. So when this new lesbian show was coming about, it was very exciting. I’ve definitely been following it since the beginning.

I have to admit, I still haven't seen the web series. I have been busy with school, and haven't had the time. I was also waiting for a couple episodes to be out before I started watching. Has anyone who views this blog seen it yet? Is it any good? I'd love to hear your opinions. :]

Lost Girls

Today I am posting about the movie "Lost and Delirious".  This movie was released in 2001 and filmed in Canada. The story is about a girl named Mouse (played by Mischa Barton) who is sent to a boarding school by her father and step-mother. She then becomes roomates with two other girls Tori (played by Jessica Pare) and Paulie (played by Piper Perabo). Tori and Paulie are best friends. And as Mouse finds out, lovers. I don't want to give away too much, but someone walking in on the two causes Tori to act out of fear and break up their relationship. Paulie tries to win back her love, while Mouse has to be a friend to both of them no matter how hard the situation is.

I highly recommend this movie. I really love the scenery, the music, atmosphere, and the actresses in this are pretty amazing.
